Program Overview

Suffern FC Winter Indoor Recreation Soccer 2026–27 is a 10-week indoor youth soccer program in Rockland County for players ages 3–14 of all skill levels. Sessions run Saturday mornings at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Center in Hillburn, so players keep developing all winter, no matter the weather. First-timers and experienced players are both welcome.

How Sessions Work

There are no set teams in Winter Indoor Rec. Players are grouped by grade into their time slot, and every session follows the same format: the first half is skills training, and the second half is small-sided scrimmages. In the 1-hour sessions (2nd–8th), that’s 30 minutes of skills and 30 minutes of scrimmage. Pre-K and K–1st follow the same pattern in their shorter sessions.

Scrimmage teams are made fresh each week by our coaches. That keeps games balanced, gives every player plenty of touches on the ball, and means your child gets to play with and against everyone in their group. Friends and classmates in the same grade group will be in the same session together.

Every Winter Indoor session is led by Suffern FC trainers, under the direction of founder and former New York Red Bulls coach Yan Garcia. Our staff runs the skills training and manages every scrimmage, so parents can sit back and enjoy watching their child play.

All Suffern FC trainers complete a background check and follow the same session plans and coaching standards used across all of our programs.

Registration & Pricing

Pre-K/Tots: $135 · K–8th Grade: $195

Registrations after November 20 are subject to a $20 late fee (Pre-K/Tots: $155 · K–8th: $215), as each time slot has limited space.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

Winter Indoor Rec runs indoors, so most weather won’t affect sessions. Cancellations happen only for snow or ice that makes travel unsafe, or if the Town of Ramapo closes the JTS Center. If the Town closes the facility, the session is cancelled regardless.

Cancellation decisions are made by Suffern FC leadership by 6:30 AM on Saturday, or the evening before when possible. Families are emailed only if a session is cancelled. No email means the session is on. Updates are also posted on the Suffern FC Facebook and Instagram pages.

One make-up date is scheduled for Saturday, March 20. If more than one session is cancelled, additional make-ups are not guaranteed.

Step 3: Complete the Google Form with your player’s information (name, age, grade, t-shirt size, emergency contact, and any friend/team requests).

Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email and program details.

Registration is not complete until the form is submitted. Payment alone does not register your player, you must complete the Google Form.
