Recreational soccer league for Pre-K–8th grade — Friday practices · Saturday games · 8 weeks · Sept 4–Oct 31

Pre-K/Tots (Ages 3–4): Saturday skills sessions, 9:00–9:30 AM — 9/5, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31 (8 weeks)

Friday Practices: K/1st (5:00–5:45 PM) & 2nd–5th (6:00–7:00 PM) & 6th–8th (7:00–8:00 PM): 9/4, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30

Saturday Games: K/1st (9:00–9:45 AM) & 2nd–5th (10:00–11:00 AM) & 6th–8th (10:00–11:00 AM): 9/5, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31 (8 weeks)

No practice or game the weekend of 9/11–9/12 — Sloatsburg Community Fields closed for a memorial, and 9/12 is Rosh Hashanah.

Pre-K/Tots (ages 3–4): $165.00 — Saturdays only, 45-min session, no weekday practice
K–8th Grade: $225.00 (8 practices and 8 games)

Program Overview

Suffern FC Fall Recreation Soccer 2026 is an 8-week youth soccer league in Rockland County for players in grades Pre-k to 8th and of all skill levels. First-timers and experienced players both welcome.

How Teams are Formed

Teams are grouped by school where possible, so your child plays alongside familiar faces. If your child attends a school outside our core area, or you’d simply like them placed with a friend or classmate, you’ll have the option to request that on the registration form.

If a player has no friend/classmate request and there’s no existing group from their school, they are placed on the team closest to full capacity within their grade/age division. This keeps team sizes balanced and gets the player into an active group as quickly as possible, rather than starting a new small team on their own.

Interested in Coaching?

Suffern FC games are led by parent volunteer coaches. We provide the training plans, session structure, and full support; no coaching experience required, just enthusiasm.

Volunteer solo or co-coach with another parent. You’ll indicate this on the registration form, and yes, you can coach your own child’s team!

All volunteer coaches complete a SafeSport background check for the safety of every player.

Registration & Pricing

Pre-K/Tots: $165 · K–8th Grade: $225
Register by August 24 to guarantee your child’s uniform size and team placement.
Registrations after August 24 are subject to a $20 late fee (Pre-K/Tots: $185 · K–8th: $245), as spots and uniform sizing become more limited as the season approaches.

August 31: Registration closes
By September 2: Teams and coach assignments released to families
Friday, September 4: First practice
Saturday, September 5: First game
Weekend of September 11–12: No games or practices (fields closed)
Friday, September 18: Practice resumes
Saturday, September 19: Games resume
Season runs through Friday, October 30 (last practice) / Saturday, October 31 (last game)

What Your Child Needs

Pre-K–2nd Grade: Size 3 ball
3rd–8th Grade: Size 4 ball
Players should bring their own ball, water bottle, and shin guards to every practice and game.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation decisions are made by Suffern FC leadership, not on-site by coaches. For Friday practices, the call is made by 3:00 PM that day. For Saturday games, the call is made by 7:00 AM or, when possible, the evening before. Families will be notified by email as soon as the decision is made. Regardless of the scheduled decision, any coach may end a session immediately if lightning or another dangerous condition arises on-site. Player safety always comes first.

Makeup sessions are not guaranteed for weather cancellations, given our 8-week season format.

✔️ Step 3: Complete the Google Form with your player’s information (name, age, grade, t-shirt size, emergency contact, and any friend/team requests).

⚠️ Registering more than one child? Each child needs their own separate payment and Google Form. Your first child registers at full price. For your second child, use code SIBLING10 (10% off). For a third child or more, use code FAMILY15 (15% off) on each additional registration.

✅ Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email and program details.

⚠️ Registration is not complete until the form is submitted. Payment alone does not register your player, we need the form to build rosters, order uniforms, and contact you.
